Dr. Mark Panneton is now a provider of the newest technology, Under Armour Performance Mouthwear!
Under Armour has created three customized mouthpieces to help improve performance and protection in every athlete. The latest research and technology has found that these pieces help you perform better and allows you to unlock your highest potential and power.

(Starting from left, UA Performance Mouthpiece, UA Performance Alloy Mouthpiece and UA Performance Mouthguard).
How It Works
Athletes all over the country are using these pieces to help them perform better. Whether they play full contact sports such as Football or Hockey, limited contact sports such as Basketball or Softball and non contact sports such as Golf or Running.
Suprisingly, your jaw is the key to making yourself perform at your best. See, when you concentrate or put your body through an intense workout your body's reaction is to have your instinctive reflex system kick in, causing you to do what is called "teeth-clenching." When you clench your teeth and jaw, you compress your temporomandibular joint (TMJ), which then releases excess amounts of hormones (like cortisol) causing stress, fatigue and distraction.
These mouthpieces prevent your teeth from clenching and moves your jaw forward to relieve the pressure on the TMJ. Moving the jaw forward allows the excess hormones and energy-draining effects to diminish, allowing the body to unleash its full potential.
What It Does
-
Increases Strength
-
Increases Endurance
-
Speeds up Reaction Time
-
Reduces Athletic Stress
-

-
When an athlete's jaw suffers an impact, energy is then transmitted to the head, which can cause concussion. UA Performance Mouthguards have been shown to reduce the G-Force impact of blows to the jaw by up to 20%.
