I have tried countless dentists over the last 20 years and have never found the one…that is ’til Mark and his staff. They are an amazing group, caring, friendly and incredibly talented.

Are you tired of living with missing teeth that affect your daily life? Panneton Dental Group offers the leading restorative solution that’ll transform your smile into one you’ll proudly show off. Learn how our experienced Omaha and La Vista dentists use dental implants to restore patients’ natural smiles and confidence and improve their speaking and eating abilities.
Dental implants are a permanent, natural-looking solution to replace a missing tooth from root to crown. There are three parts to a dental implant:
Implants fuse into your jawbone to prevent disintegration, a consequence of tooth loss that can affect the shape of your face and your ability to chew properly. Dental implants provide excellent support and stability so you can eat all your favorite foods with ease. Best of all, implants look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth, giving you a restoration option that can last a lifetime.
Dental implants offer many benefits that other restorative solutions can’t match, including:
Transforming your smile with dental implants requires multiple appointments over several months with dental implants. The dental implant process will be completed in three steps:
The first step is scheduling your consultation with one of our talented dental professionals. During this first visit, we’ll evaluate your teeth, gums, and jawbone to determine if dental implants are right for you.
Some patients may need to undergo a supplemental procedure before receiving their implants to ensure a successful placement. If you fall under this category, we’ll let you know during your initial consultation. Any questions you may have will also be answered during this time.
Once you’re ready, your dentist will place your dental implant or implants directly into your jaw. They’ll protect the surgical area with a healing cap to begin the healing process. In most cases, it’ll take three to six months for your implant to heal and merge with your jawbone. This is a natural process known as osseointegration.
Once your mouth has fully recovered from implant placement, you’ll return to our office so your dentist can attach your customized restoration. Depending on your needs, this may be a porcelain crown, a fixed dental bridge, or full-arch dentures. Then, you’ll be ready to leave our office with a beautiful new smile.
You may be an ideal candidate for dental implants if you:
If you lack the sufficient bone density needed to support implants, a supplemental procedure such as bone grafting can prepare you for treatment.
No, the process relatively is painless. We’ll administer a local anesthetic to numb the surgical area before starting your implant placement. You can also ask for dental sedation if you suffer from dental anxiety and want to momentarily relax during the procedure.
After your dental implant placements, you may experience minor pain, swelling, or bleeding. These symptoms can usually be remedied with over-the-counter pain medications. If you’re still feeling persistent pain, contact your dentist’s office to assess the situation so they provide the necessary.
There are three restoration options to meet your unique needs:
Schedule a consultation with an implant provider to determine which dental implant treatment is best for you.
Many dental insurance providers will cover all or some of your dental implant treatment. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to find out the details of your coverage. If you’re still worried about the expense, ask your implant provider if their office has financing options available. Don’t delay your dream smile goals any further!

Going to the dentist or some people is a scary experience. For me it’s like visiting a friend. I’ve been seeing Dr. Panneton for 35 years and consider him an old friend with whom I would trust with my life (and my teeth!), My new hygienist was friendly, thoughtful, and did a good job!

I have been very pleased with Dr. Panneton and his staff. Our previous dentist seemed heavily focused on generating additional procedures and fees. Dr. Panneton has also worked with our special needs son. He seems very competent and committed to providing good high service and care.

As someone who has experienced a few other dentists who nickel and dime you to death, I cannot speak more highly of Panneton Dental. My regular dentist, Dr. Casey Sexton, is amazing beyond words. She is kind, genuine, honest and trustworthy. Her diagnoses with any troubles my husband and I are having are always accurate and solutions always fit our budget.
While Dr. Sexton was out on maternity leave, I was assigned with Dr. Mark Panneton. Again, talk about an amazing experience! He understood the issue at hand and went above and beyond to help fix it – never making me feel like I was going through a procedure just to fill the pockets of the company. Dr. Panneton is also kind, genuine, honest and trustworthy. They both just have wonderful personalities that make you want to get to know them better.
Did I mention the staff? Wow! They not only go out of their way to get your appointment made so it’s convenient to you, but also welcome you like you’re walking into their home. What an amazing feeling when it can sometimes be unnerving going to the dentist.
I would recommend either of these two doctors to anyone looking for a dentist; they put the patients needs above their own every time. My husband is a patient, I’m a patient, when we have kids they will be patients and I will continue recommending them to other family and friends searching. You cannot go wrong with these dentists!!

I have been going to Panneton Dental for two years now, and have had nothing but great experiences. I had braces almost fifteen years ago, and my hygienist found/removed glue that had been missed in the original process. I’ve had a filling performed by Dr. Panneton as well. Quick, painless, and I never noticed a difference in the feeling of my tooth. Dr. Panneton and his team are most concerned about how you feel. I am asked numerous times if I have anything bothering me. I will keep coming back!
